I know it's early, but my wife and I already got to do some opening at her dad's place. We got a Canon digital camera with an 8 GB SD Card. I have many other things to open here and at my parents' place tomorrow. Oh, it shall be a great harvest. Mwahahahahahah!

I know it's not official yet, but it's pretty damn close. It's between that and Super Smash Bros. Melee, which is more fitted for the title. While I don't mind Majora's Mask, I felt it was a far cry from "Game of the Decade". A very far cry in fact.

I've forgotten just how much a walkthrough can really burn you out on a game. I have a feeling before long I'm going to hate the game that I had just reviewed at a 9. The next FAQ I have in mind........a Dragon's Curse Item FAQ. Thankfully, I already have all the info I need. I am not just going to C&P from my walkthrough, but actually write new info. That will be the last DC FAQ I will ever do. No. More.

Now, let's just hope I don't start hating the Soul Blazer trilogy. They're the next in line for a good, hard FAQing!

In other news, I recently saw The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari. Aw... Silent awesomeness! If you like silent era horror flicks, check this one out. German expressionism FTW!

Anyone participating in it this year, or have you participated before? I had originally planned to, but I already had a novel started that I don't want to abandon. I'm hoping to get this one published, possibly with a local publishing company, though Spokane doesn't seem to be interested in anything spooky or weird, which this one definitely is.

Around the time I started going to college, I decided it was time to upgrade from the uncomfortable contraption I was using for a gamepad--one that looked like a Batarang--for something more comfortable and with more buttons. I learned from this experience to avoid Gravis gamepads like the plague, as I bought yet another that didn't work.

Instead, I shelled out the extra money and yielded to the might of a Saitek P750. That controller and I saw many reviews, many FAQs, and many questionable downloads together.

As you may recall, I downloaded Steam not long ago. I've since downloaded a lot of free games, demos, and even bought some other games. The only game I've purchased that I haven't tried so far is Titan Quest, which I picked up tonight. Just thought I'd give some early impressions (not reviews, mind, but impressions) of what I've played.

Reviews will probably be trickling out at this point. I'm working on a new novel. No, this doesn't mean I've published one before, though I have two I still need to touch up and publish, as well as a bunch of short stories. Still waiting to hear back from Cutting Block Press on one short I sent them.
