About Me: Hello. |
And two of those are my days off.
YES! *high-fives everyone*
Figured someone here might want to know.
Muscle March
Yes, this is my review for Halloween. I was originally going to review Ghosthunter for the PS2, and even bought the game two weeks in advance, but circumstances of the week forced me to review something shorter. So you get manly thongs, instead. :D
Just found out that Shinji Mikami's new studio, Tango Gameworks, has been bought by Bethesda. Link with silly Shinji trying to look cool.
Well, this was a surprise for me... since I still thought he was with PlatinumGames. Goes to show how much I keep up with video game news >_>. Seems like a smart move on Bethesda's part, considering Mikami has a knack for making very interesting games.
So I was browsing around Amazon today, looking for interesting deals, and I decided I wanted to check out the "reviews" for THotD 2 & 3 Return. This was a mistake:
"I picked up this turd new at a wholesale club for $10 last weekend. What a total piece of garbage and a complete waste of my hard earned money. The graphics are 1980's grade, the talking tracks are infantile and stupid, NO SAVE ability," (1 star rating)
1980s?! Jesus, you make me feel old...
"This game allows no saves so it is frustrating trying to advance. Much prefer "Overkill."" (2 star rating)
"I really really liked this game and the only downside would be the fact that when you died, you had to start over..."
So I just rewatched my badassical video of Contra: Hard Corps again, and I just noticed that Deadeye Joe was never inside the crab vehicle boss! You'd think all those times I've played that part I would notice. I guess I was too caught up in the action that I just assumed he was inside, since he takes control of a lot of devices throughout the game.
I've edited that section of the review a bit, and I hope that didn't take away from the overall feel of the review from readers. :|
