Namco Museum: Virtual Arcade

I just bought three games I have no intention of playing now
February 10, 2010

Earlier today, I was browsing Amazon yet again, this time because I had a promotional $10 deal I could use on any video game sold by the site. While checking through possible buys, I eventually noticed another promotional deal: Buy Two Xbox 360 Platinum Hits, Get One Free. Obviously, I was interested, and with the $10 deal I already had, I realized I was going to be buying 3 "new" games for only $30. How could I pass this up?

Every time I read updates for Record of Agarest War's upcoming release...

It just keeps getting more ridiculous.

This is something I would expect to see in a Japanese release, not a US one. Something tells me people are going to sell this new for a lot of money years (or maybe months) from now when it goes out of print.

Oh, yeah, I gave freelancing a shot a month ago...
January 26, 2010

I responded to a freelance position for Planet Xbox 360, and I really wasn't expecting a reply back. Well, I was actually surprised when the editor-in-chief emailed me back asking if I was still interested. I accepted, and he put me on a two-week trial period where I could just write anything I wanted. He said by the end of the trial period he would let me know if he wanted to keep me around. So, I got started on my first article and submitted it about two days later. He loved it and said to keep it up.

After Burner Climax finally gets a console release
January 24, 2010

Took them long enough.

Though, it would've been nice to have a disc release instead of a Live Arcade one. But I'll take it, since I've been hoping for a console release ever since the game came out in the arcades years ago.

I never intended to write a review when I got the game, and continued to feel that way while playing and completing it. I was about to move on to a different game, but then I just suddenly started having a bunch of thoughts while in the shower, so I wrote a review after I got out.

-More Culdcept SAGA thoughts corner: this is a terrible, terrible game.

I just finished playing Culdcept SAGA a few minutes ago

Fun Facts:

-I ended up playing for two hours straight.

-I ended up playing the first stage for two hours straight, because I lost twice.

-The first stage is basically a tutorial stage.

-The Starter deck I was given is crap. It's almost impossible to complete the first stage with this set unless an extreme amount of luck was on my side. Unfortunately, luck was constantly on my opponent's side...

This is going to be an... interesting playthrough.

Two Hour Later Edit: Okay, I'm starting to get a better grip on the game. Apparently, you have a much better chance of winning if you just don't risk a bunch of fights and just pay the low fees. Though, this game's luck at times is still too lucky.
