About Me: Hello. |
When the game was announced for release in the US with a 30 dollar price tag, I didn't think much about it, and I still don't. However, once the game eventually came out, I've read nothing but complaints about about how gamers feel ripped off, and how $30 is overkill for something like this. When you compare the games in the collection to the NES versions on Virtual Console, it's about $20, and when you throw in the included CD and booklet in the limited edition, $30 sounds like a reasonable price.
But that's just me. I'm curious to think what everyone here thinks about it. Is $30 really too much, or are people just being greedy?

From all the commercials and trailers I kept seeing of the movie, I thought it was going to be something like Commando times five people. I finally got to see the movie last night, and I was disappointed. The first half-ish part of the movie had a lot of talking, but it felt pointless. Some would call it character development, but halfway through the movie, I still didn't give a crap about half the cast. There was even this lame subplot about an ex-girlfirend being abused by her new bf, which reached an obvious conclusion with no flare. Even when most of the action got underway during the second half, it was still pretty meh. There were some cool moments, yeah, but the problem was that the good guys were nearly indistinguishable during the battle. Most of the time, you could switch one pe

Interestingly, writing this review gave me the craving to review Sonic the Hedgehog 2. I think it was all that talk about what makes a good Sonic game and whatnot, and somehow it reminded me that Sonic 2 was my least favorite (I didn't say bad!) "main" Genesis Sonic game. I doubt I'll do a review now, but maybe in a few months.
I completely forgot about doing these entries. Whoops.

I actually wanted to review this game for a long time (specifically the Saturn version), because the 3D glasses gimmick piqued my interest. The problem was finding a copy with a decent price. I mean, can you imagine throwing away a lot of money on a game that you've heard is really bad? Finally, a week ago, I found a reasonably-priced copy on ebay for the PlayStation. There was also a copy with 3D glasses for the Saturn, but it was in the 50/60 dollar range. Screw that. So a week later, a review materialized. Now that that's out of the way, I can finally play my copy of Sonic Colors.
