I was doing fine until I hit the Pholya Flatlands. Man, I dunno if it was because I wasn't used to everything or not yet, but that battle was really a struggle. It started out simple, with only some weak "infantry" units, but it just got disturbing afterwards. Once you defeat those little guys, you'll have to take on this giant group with these giant orges and soldiers that gives out major damage. Halfway through that battle, a bunch of lizard people pop out of nowhere from behind. To make matters worse, a whole different species appears minutes later with dragons. If you manage to survive all of that, you'll have to take out ANOTHER group with two bosses. Geez, it took me at least an hour to complete that mission (the actual battle itself only lasts about 20 minutes), I hope they give me
Sonic the Hedgehog
I'm surprised it came out THAT long. Though I didn't get a chance to address a couple more problems (most of them were tiny, anyway), I was able to point out the bigger ones.
And I just found out Play gave the game a 9.5/10...... what the hell are they smoking?
I'm gonna call this game Sonic Ball Z from now on....
Towards the end of Sonic's storyline, I had to take these three tests before I would be able to enter the castle stage. The final test was about a test of love. The guy said something about having to leave something/someone behind in order to move forward or something like that, and the test begun. The test required you to choose one of two people: Princess Elise that's standing to the left and Amy, who's standing to the right. I wanted to choose Amy, since, you know, he knew her a hell of a lot longer, but I knew I had to pick Elise to advance the game. I picked Elise, and I passed the test. That's fucked up. You're telling me you're in love with this girl who you've probably known for maybe two days (maybe even less than 24 hours), over Amy? Damn, Sonic, that's cold. Hilarious, but cold.
I got Sonic the Hedgehog for the 360 today. Haven't played it yet, so I'm gonna make some predictions on what I might expect:
-Singing (gah)
-Not so many traditional Sonic stages
-Shadow riding a motorcycle
-The new, white hedgehog acting stupid
-Silly plot
-Annoying characters
Now to see how many I got right.
Capcom Classics Collection Vol. 1
I thought I was just gonna get Gears of War today, but a little later in the day, I found out the new Transformers Movie DVD came out. Geez, good thing I didn't get that 40 Years of X-Men Collector's Edition, I would have ended up spending a shit load of money in one day.
