Earlier today, I was browsing Amazon yet again, this time because I had a promotional $10 deal I could use on any video game sold by the site. While checking through possible buys, I eventually noticed another promotional deal: Buy Two Xbox 360 Platinum Hits, Get One Free. Obviously, I was interested, and with the $10 deal I already had, I realized I was going to be buying 3 "new" games for only $30. How could I pass this up?
Did I get Mass Effect? Assassin's Creed? Fallout 3?! Well, my final three choices ended up being Burnout Paradise, Ninja Gaiden II, and Lego Star Wars Complete Saga. Can't wait to finally get them so I could put them away, never to be seen again (ie six months)!

dementedhut - February 10, 2010 (04:49 PM) Nah, they were all my choices. I ended up thinking up which titles to get for an hour before settling for those three. I passed on Mass Effect because I wasn't in the mood for a big game, skipped on Assassin's Creed because I wasn't really that interested in it at the moment, and didn't get Fallout 3 because, even before the game came out, it looked like Oblivion with guns, and I wasn't exactly thrilled with Oblivion. I could have gone for one of the $29 games, but I didn't want the total to be anywhere near $40. |
