That's Blue from Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends on Cartoon Network, which I think has been canceled or something because I haven't seen it in a long while. ....not that I really watched it that much in the first place. Haha. Somehow i have the feeling you already know all this, but still I feel the need to explain. XD

It was more about this kid named Max or Matt or something who imagined that character Blue but had to give him up because his parents didn't want him around. Like, I guess imaginary friends in this cartoon become real entities and can be treated like pets. So the show is based on the Blue character living in a house with a bunch of other imaginary friends and they all go on weird adventures and things. I dunno. It was weird. Of the few episodes I watched, the only ones I really liked were any involving the character Cheese because those were hilarious. Haha. Nice on almost getting the purse. Too bad you didn't get that. You could've given it to a sister (if you have any) or friend or something. =P
