Your trip to meet with Dr. X will require you to battle your way to defeat eight powerful robots that lurk at the end of generally short but demanding stages. If you've conquered the previous games in the series, nothing here should be prohibitively difficult, but you'll still need to pay attention and--as always--it pays to tackle the robots in a logical order.
As in Mega Man 4 and 5, you can revisit a stage as often as you like, which is useful because it means you can grab energy tanks repeatedly, so that you never are in short supply. There are also a couple of hidden power-ups to snag. Of course, this guide will make sure you have all of the info you need in order to grab everything and easily survive the last of the true 8-bit entries in the series.
