The Beast Within: A Gabriel Knight Mystery review (PC)

Reviewed November 20, 2014

Sho says: "Just as our hero cheerfully toys with every dour Deustchlander misfortunate enough to cross his path by pouring on the old Southern charm, so does the game itself con you into overlooking its flaws with an amazing presentation."

Tales of Hearts R review (Vita)

Zachary Walton says: "In many ways, Tales of Hearts R feels like the ultimate traditional Tales game. For that reason alone, Tales of Hearts R is a worthy addition to any PS Vita or PlayStation TV library."

Crazy Taxi review (PC)

Reviewed October 31, 2014

bigcj34 says: "Though the game isn’t messed up and the underlying premise shines through, this port is a missed opportunity that could have been done better. The game is fun and addictive in short bursts, but it does get repetitive and the Crazy Box challenges don’t prolong the lifespan much. "

@joseph_valencia @Suskie @Genj I think we'll all benefit once developers stop trying to port ambitious games to aging PS3/Xbox 360 hardware. Something like DQ:I seems like it would all but demand newer the hardware, regardless of developer intent.

@Suskie @Genj My sister has been playing the PS3 version of "Inquisition" and it's hilariously glitchy. I guess BioWare doesn't care anymore.
Mike Suskie @Suskie
@Genj Dunno if I've voiced this opinion on here but I strongly regret going so easy on that game in my review. It really is genuinely bad. (P.S. Inquisition is a massive improvement.)
Ben Lee @Ben
@EmP @Suskie Divinity is going to be my Christmas game, I think.
Mike @Genj
Just finished Dragon Age 2. One of the worst games I've played in some time. Awful story & characters. Poor dialog. Repetitive quests & enemy encounters. Too much backtracking. It's like they rushed it out with no care for quality.
Joseph Shaffer @JoeTheDestroyer
Finished 1953: KGB Unleashed. To put it plainly, it's a tedious game, one that I doubt I'll be reviewing.
Gary Hartley @EmP
@Suskie @Ben ...he says as if Velocibox hasn't been the most pleasant gaming surprise in 2014 thus far
Mike Suskie @Suskie
@Ben Dude, I played Velocibox, so you have to play Divinity. This was our unspoken agreement.
Jason Venter @honestgamer
@joseph_valencia That one does look good(ish) to me, and I still hope to get it. The newest Sonic one I will probably skip.
Rob Hamilton @overdrive
@overdrive The real question will be: So, you're buying all these games. Uh, exactly where will they fit in with that huge pile of unplayed games in your excessive backlog? Dude?
