Konami releasing all the Silent Hills in March
That's right! All of 'em!
Well, maybe I'm exaggerating a bit. Nonetheless, March 2012 may very well be the greatest month in recorded time for Silent Hill fans, as Konami today announced its plans to release three Silent Hill titles that month.
First up is the Silent Hill HD Collection, which contains the HD, remastered versions of Silent Hill 2 and Silent Hill 3 (along with new voiceovers). The HD collection hits shelves March 6 after being delayed a couple of times, most recently from its Jan. 24 date.
Exactly one week later, on March 13, Silent Hill Downpour (above) is slated to horrify players with the story of ex-con Murphy Pendleton as he finds himself trapped in Silent Hill after a bus crash. Konami is touting Downpour as its "most expansive" Silent Hill to date.
If that isn't enough Silent Hill for you, you'll have to agonizingly wait another two weeks before Silent Hill Book of Memories launches on March 27. The PlayStation Vita-exclusive title has a pretty interesting concept: a book that contains your life story and all of your memories. The twist? You can rewrite your own history to alter the past. Cooperative multiplayer will also be making its series-first appearance in Book of Memories.
If that's still not enough Silent Hill for you, well, you just clearly have issues.
