Tell me that wasn't real. Please. It was pure stupidity for any number of reasons, but if they really thought they could pull that off after the clumsiness demonstrated throughout the routine... yeah, that had to be rigged.
Edit: Looked it up and there are some suggesting that it was actually a commercial for the pop that was presented to mock the number of talent shows proliferating the globe, which I find quite likely. So this was all an act, albeit a moderately convincing one.
