The Harvest Moon series fell on hard times when Story of Seasons came along, because most of the old games were developed by a separate company. But efforts to restore glory to the name have persisted, and it's looking like Harvest Moon: Echoes of Teradea is the biggest success in some time. Perhaps it is only fitting that Natsume is ready to take advantage of everything its development team did right this time around and offer eager players the chance to dive even deeper into that world with DLC.
When Harvest Moon: Echoes of Teradea first released, Natsume promised that a roadmap for DLC was on its way, and the publisher has delivered sooner than I expected. We now know there are nine packs planned through the end of 2027, which is... rather a lot.
Starting today, you can play Merus's Dilemma. It's priced at $6.99 USD. Rather than try to rewrite a bunch of the press release, I'll just share what Natsume had to say, straight from the press release.

More Adventures Coming in 2027!
The adventure continues later in 2027 with Gaston the Gourmet, Sweet & Smart Home Pack, and the special Harvest Moon 30th Anniversary Pack. More stories, surprises, and ways to enjoy life in Teradea await!
If you purchase all of that content individually, you're looking at $37, and that's not even counting whatever Natsume winds up charging for those last three packs. Fortunately, you have the option of buying a Season Pass right now, which is priced at $24.99 USD and includes all current and upcoming additional content. If you already know you want to play most or all of it, that's a no-brainer (at least until the inevitable special edition comes along to catch everything in one glorious bundle).
"We're pleased to confirm a full year of planned DLC, delivering new recipes, fresh crops, expanded features, new characters, and additional story content," shared Hiro Maekawa, President and CEO of Natsume. "Our goal is for you to continue to return to the thriving world of Teradea to keep farming and exploring all year long. We think players will be excited about the upcoming DLC!"
Harvest Moon: Echoes of Teradea is available right now on Switch, Switch 2, PS5, Xbox Series X, and Steam, so there's a good chance you already have the hardware you need to run it. Are you ready to keep farming and adventuring?
