Sumatra: Fate of Yandi is coming to Nintendo Switch this week, courtesy of the development team at Cloak and Dagger Games. Ratalaika Games will publish the point and click adventure, which also is arriving on Xbox One, Xbox Series X, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 during the same window of time.

In Sumatra: Fate of Yandi, players meet a logging worker named Yandi, who is lost and alone deep within the jungle. He needs to find his best friend and coworker, Ramdan, so he can safely return home to Adiratna.

As if his current predicament is not bad enough all on its own, Yandi can't help but remember his recent bickering with the beloved Adiratna. He wants to make amends, and that desire may be all that carries him through the desolate wasteland. But will it be enough to see him through the many dangers and secrets that lie in his path?

Here is a list of game features straight from today's press release:

  • Explore rich and vibrant mysteries of the jungle

  • Nostalgic adventure game style

  • An old-school point and click adventure aesthetic

  • An intriguing storyline with many puzzles

  • Encounter humans and animals, friends and foes

  • Original soundtrack featuring 30 tracks
Sumatra: Fate of Yandi will be priced at $6.99 USD and equivalent, and is due on March 19. The PS4 and PS5 versions feature cross-buy, and the Xbox One and Xbox Series X editions will take advantage of Smart Delivery.
