Reviewed by ratking (July 08, 2002) Pokemon Gold is one of those games that improves upon an already great game. The original Pokemon for gameboy was already a major success, and well they took that some recipe and added a few new ingrediants. This time there were 100 more pokemon, a way to breed them, and different times of day and night. Of course to get all 250 you would have to trade your Pokemon you already from the originals, and Pokemon silver. However the game is similiar, and yet so much better. |

Reviewed by tomclark (March 07, 2004) It seems that there was a time not to long ago when it was impossible to turn anywhere without seeing some form of (almost always crap) Pokemon merchandise. From lunch boxes to pyjamas to nail polish remover (hey, it's possible!) it seemed that there was nothing that wouldn't get one of the little buggers splashed all over it's packaging. For now, though, it appears that the craze has died away - the lil' children are now all obsessed with Harry Potter or somesuch, and Pokemon has slipped quietl... |
