I think I already knew this, but I was just reminded of the MGS4 bundle the New World is getting: PS3 + MGS4 + Dual Shock 3, for $500.

The 80GB PS3! The one with backwards compatibility! And my coveted MGS4, which we won't get until September 2012, when it has been sufficiently stripped of extra content and inflated in price to 70â‚¬ ($113)! And the Dual Shock 3, which I couldn't care less about but is bound to be expensive too. We don't even HAVE backwards compatibility PS3s of any kind. And it's all for a price cheaper than even our low-end crappy PS3 version by itself.

Sometimes I get asked why I'm so anti -Sony this time around. And this is pretty much the answer. They've gotten way too comfortable screwing PAL terriories around and nothing wiould make me happier than to see this blow up in their smug little faces.

Hell, I'm pulling more for Nintendo this round than Sony. That's a huge jump from last generation.

genj: that's the symbol for the monetary unit known as the Euro - you know, that currency that is rapidly making the good ol' US dollar look like a fool.

It's nice, for now, for importing games and stuff but if this keeps up it'll become completely unattractive for foreigners to invest in Europe and this whole recession thing will come to bite us, next.
