Looks TOO BioShocky... And what's with the killer refrigerator at the end? >_>

Genj Jun 29, 2010

I think it looks pretty fun.

WilltheGreat Jun 29, 2010

Looks more like BioShock with Aliens than X-COM.

Not impressed. But hey, now there's no doubt in anyone's mind that 2K is a one-trick pony.

zippdementia Jun 29, 2010

Or a no-trick donkey, in my mind.

I like how the pics they show after FIND THEM, STUDY THEM, and FIGHT THEM are all of the same thing: shooting black blobs.

Apparently finding them and studying them is closely related to shooting them lots.

What does this have to do with x-com? anything?

WilltheGreat Jun 29, 2010

Nothing, I guess.

For those of you not in the know: X-COM (or UFO: Enemy Unknown) was set in 1999 and features big-headed grey aliens, snakemen, and traditional flying saucers in dogfights with fighter jets.

You'll note that the trailer above contains none of these things.

noooooooooooooooo....it doesnt look like Bioshock!!!!!!!!!

I'm going to buy a copy, because I hate you.

EmP Blogger Jun 30, 2010

Last laugh will be with me seeing as it's clearly Bioshock 2.5, and you hate that game.

Adding multiple exclamation points to a statement does not make it true.

zippdementia Jun 30, 2010

Well, I think it might be set in 1999.
