Reviewed by Marc Golding (January 12, 2004) This game was a much-needed addition to the Sega Master System's meager library of 2-D shooters. It's generally thought of as a bottom feeder, even on this system, and I won't try to convince you otherwise. Even with only a handful of titles in the genre, SS falls firmly behind exciting excursions like Compile's Power Strike 1 and 2, and the venerable R-Type. It's not even as entertaining as the decidedly mediocre Cloud Master. |

Reviewed by pickhut (October 11, 2004) I wanted to play this game for the longest time. Years ago, I bought this game after my SMS was gone, and it was pretty hard to find a new Master System back then. Recently, last year, I finally had the chance to try this game out. From the looks of the screen shots on the back of the box, I assumed it would play similar to Bomber Raid, so I had high hopes for this game. Boy, was I sorely disappointed once I played it.
