About Me:

Sorry, but I haven't yet shared the information about myself that would typically display here. Check back later to see if that changes, or if I instead choose to remain an enigma.

it sucks that my working hours have been cut back because of the bad economy but it certainly has given me more time to play video games which isn't a bad thing. that's the upside. the downside is that i'll have to cut back on future game purchases. that Rock Band 2 i was considering getting for my PS3 definitely won't happen. i've got to be more selective now. the days of getting an anticipated game on the first day of release are over.

Pentavision has just announced a few more games in the Metro Project line-up -- DJ Max Portable: Clazziquai Edition and DJ Max Portable: Black Square both for the PSP. Along with the recent announcement of DJ Max: Technika and DJ Max Fever, DJ Max fans have plenty to look forward to this Fall. now if only they revive the internet PC edition or make some announcement of a console version. it's only a matter of time...

i don't know why but after playing Metal Gear Solid 4, i just haven't really been bothered to play any video games lately. most of the games i've played have left me feeling underwhelmed. the latest victim? Soul Calibur 4. i gave in and bought it after not buying any games for two months. it has some nice enhancements but the single player story mode was incredibly short and easy. i think i beat it within 10 minutes. at least virtua fighter 5 gave me a decent challenge and with all the continues it took me almost an hour to finish.

Gaming 2008 The Story So Far
July 12, 2008

what do you think about all the games released so far? has 2008 lived up to your expectations? in some ways i am a bit disappointed with all the games that were hyped this year. like, super smash bros. brawl's online mode to MGS4's plot, etc. i think they could have handled certain aspects better.

gaming in '08 starts off with a bang.
April 20, 2008

the first quarter of gaming is already over and it has been great so far! the only tinge of disappointment has been Super Smash Bros. Brawl's Online. all the platforms this time have better support and better games especially for the PS3 and Wii compared to the 1st quarter of last year.

Action game fans have nothing to complain about with games like No More Heroes, Devil May Cry 4, God of War:Chains of Olympus, Ninja Gaiden: Dragon Sword, etc.

Some decent fighting games with Super Smash Bros. Brawl and Arcana Heart

Quirky niche games like Patapon.
