About Me:

Sorry, but I haven't yet shared the information about myself that would typically display here. Check back later to see if that changes, or if I instead choose to remain an enigma.

So the Wii turns 1 years old.
November 19, 2007

ugly cake if you ask me. so far i've bought 13 games many of which i thoroughly enjoyed. it's also the most games i've had for a Nintendo console in it's first year since well forever(the NES days). I think the Wii is better than the GameCube and a tad better than the N64 during their respective first years. The Wii has:1.Wii Sports(killer app in the form of a tech demo)2.The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess(better than Wind Waker)3.Trauma Center: 2nd Opinion4.Rayman Raving Rabbids5.Elebits6.Wario Ware Smooth Moves7.Super Paper Mario8.Metroid Prime Corruption9.Zack & Wiki10.Fire Emblem Radiant Dawn11.Super Mario Galaxy(better than Sunshine)GameCube1. Rogue Squadron 22. Super Smash Bros. Melee

so i finally got Mario Galaxy. played about an hour. got to the first boss fight against the dinosaur looking pirahna plant. awersome. can't wait to play more. gonna postpone playing Zack & Wiki because this game is fun.

also went and bought PS3 Assassin's Creed(although i'm hearing glitches of the sort that freezes the game, i hope i don't encounter any) and Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn. i still haven't picked up Call of Duty 4 yet. then there's Trauma Center: New Blood and Uncharted...my head is in a tizzy.

Forget about the PSP version, Play DJ Max on your PC!
October 17, 2007

there was a time when i played DJ Max on the Japanese servers but then i stopped playing after several months. the reason? many of the songs on there were locked as premium songs which you had to pay for, but nonetheless the songs that i did get to play were addicting. this in turn led me to check out the portable version on the PSP. DJ Max Portable gave me the chance to play 1/4 of the songs that I couldn't play on the PC version. recently i was thinking about playing DJ Max again on the PC. then i remembered reading about the CHinese servers where you don't have to pay to play any of the songs. so yesterday i made the effort to sign up an account and download the program. it was an easy process that i once thought would be too complicated thanks to the guides on the DJMaxInt forums. my D

juggling between sessions of Lair, Heavenly Sword, Persona 3, Metroid Prime 3, Jeanne D'Arc and Osu Tatakae Ouendan 2

Lair isn't as bad as the critics make it out to be. I was expecting the controls to either make the dragon move like a tank or be too sensitive that I had no control over the dragon. however it feels like it's somewhere in between. the motion controls are just fine. there can be alot of action onscreen and sometimes the lock-on system isn't up to the task. the story is boring and the voice acting does little to immerse the player. the game is not terrible but it's not all that great either. (6 out of 10 so far)

Heavenly Sword (7/10)
Persona 3 (9/10)
Metroid Prime 3 (9/10)
Jeanne D'Arc (7/10)
Ouendan 2 (9/10)

Killer 7 was alright...but i'm really looking forward to this one.

played 5 hours of Metroid Prime 3 Corruption. so far, so good. the gameplay is probably the most action-oriented out of the trilogy with some really cool action sequences right from the getgo but a little bit less focus on exploration and finding hidden items. so far all 3 energy tanks were in rooms, not in any secret place. it doesn't matter though, i like the direction this game is going and i don't have to put up with the confusing light and dark world bullshit.
