About Me: Sorry, but I haven't yet shared the information about myself that would typically display here. Check back later to see if that changes, or if I instead choose to remain an enigma. |
how is that game coming along and is it as hard as they say it is? i've seen a couple videos. the Tower Knight boss fight looks epic like Shadow of the Colossus epic. anyway what's your take on the game?
i wasn't all too interested about another Metal Gear outing on the PSP, or any Metal Gear game on any console for that matter. i was done with the series after Metal Gear Solid 4 but now that i had spent a good long hour playing the demo i'm actually quite hyped up for this game.
the demo consists of 3 parts:
the first part you'll spend about 7 minutes on the coast learning the controls and moves on your fellow soldiers followed by a very simple get to point A to point B sneaking mission with very few soldiers in the path. here is where you also get to see the majority of cinematic cutscenes in the demo.
the second part is another sneaking mission. there are few more segmented areas with more enemy soldiers patrolling about. the last section is a fortified camp
if you haven't done so by now, IGN has the japanese demo available that is being distributed at Tokyo Game Show. check out the hands-on impressions article for the link. just waiting for my PSP to fully charge up so i can upgrade my firmware to 6.0
i'm recently getting into anime again. this time i'm watching anime that came out in the late 90's and beyond where my experience has been limited to Pokemon, Hellsing, Gungrave and remakes of old 80s anime. so far i've seen all the episodes of DeathNote, Full Metal Panic: Fumoffu and just recently started on Grand Teacher Onizuka. i'm also watching a bit of Cowboy Bebop, Gurren Lagaan, and Neon Genesis Evangelion. can't belieeve i almost missed out on them. some good stuff! still love and prefer 80's anime production over modern anime. Fist of the North Star is my all time favorite series. Guyver, Vampire Hunter D, and Golgo 13 were good too. the words TOEI and STREAMLINE have deep meaning to me. what are your favorite animes?
looks pretty good for a DS game and it looks like old-school SMT style
he's probably going to end up being the 1st boss in the game. lame-looking boss but at least the battle looks to be more "explosive" than the first. dual katana wielding and a more retro-throwback in the form of 2D "job" minigames. can't wait.
i just dropped over $200 for the past week purchasing Muramasa, the Rickenbacker guitar and RockBand Beatles...and Demon's Souls is less than a month away. *grumble* the deluxe edition looks pretty cool though and so does the game but i wonder if the gameplay will be any good. i also saw a copy of Valkyria Chronicles in the new section but it's probably their last and gutted copy. still need to get that game but alas no cash. also there is Persona 1 PSP coming out in a few weeks gah! that reminds me i won a Persona: Revelations case for PS1 with inserts at Ebay for $4. all i need now is the manual and the game disc. i sure as hell don't want to pay $60 or more for this game, badly localised game that is but for collections sake and i like the Persona series.
