I don't know how many of you use it, but for a VERY long time, the site has had a feature that lets you track the games you own. You can click to add a game to your collection individually from any game profile page, or you can click "Games" on your blog and follow the links to select titles you own for various systems from a list.
None of that is new. I've been using it for years, and so have a few others. Along the way, there have been a few tweaks to improve things. This weekend, though, I decided to make some more ambitious adjustments so that the feature will better help people to track their collections.
The big difference, as you might notice if you check my list of games, is that now you can indicate whether a title is physical or digital. This is becoming increasingly important as more and more titles hit digital services and store shelves alike. It will likely be more important still in the future. Additionally, I added columns so that you can indicate whether you have the game's exterior packaging (usually a box or DVD case) and any inserts (such as instruction manuals and maps).
If you're a serious collector, particularly of retro games, you might find yourself out at yard sales and you may have trouble remembering what you already have at home, particularly if you maintain a large collection. The site now loads beautifully on smartphones, and it is a snap to check your list to see what you have and don't. Admittedly, this isn't something everyone will care to use, but it should be helpful for some of you.
Of course, the down side to this particular enhancement is that the site has no way to know what you already own. The contents of your lists haven't been changed, but the way they display has. By default, all games you have listed are featured in your collection as physical titles. You can go through and edit listings for each system if you would like to add manuals and boxes, or if a title should be updated to reflect that it is a digital download.
When you add games in the future, you can edit your list either from your main collection or from the game profile page, as usual. From the game profile page, you can click one link to add a spot on your list as a digital title, or a separate link if it is a physical product. If the latter is true, you can then click to add a manual, or an insert, or both.
I've gone through and updated my own collection, which is as large as probably any that will ever be listed on the site (though of course someone could come along and surprise me), and I've tested for bugs. I think everything is working now exactly as it should, but please let me know if something isn't so that I can fix it. Enjoy!

All but one game that's not listed, but request has been sent in. Other systems can come later or I'll be here all day. The boss probably would not appreciate that.
