Germ's Looney Tunes Dash! review
Another thing about coin-ops is you were paying for the service of using someone else's machine. I feel F2P is a whole other beast. Mobile gaming would be better off of they just charged $10 for the game and forgot about these weird revenue devices, but I guess someone must be spending a lot of money on those gems/coins/whatever.
JOSEPH VALENCIA was able to build this sig IN A CAVE…… WITH A BOX OF SCRAPS!!
I definitely agree with Joseph, especially in the case of a "freemium" game that no longer has a functional in-game marketplace.
The only thing my milkshake brings to the yard is a subpoena.
Whoa, people read this one? Cool.
There's no such thing as a perfect analogy, and f2p is not the same as coin up, but I brought up the comparison anyway and I hope it served the review. I would also strongly prefer to just pay for a game upfront.
If you've checked out my blog lately you know I'm attempting the Korean version of Black Desert, which is f2p. Recently, it was announced that the US version will be a full priced release. Maybe once I have a better handle on the Korean version I'll compare the two and have a little more to say on the subject.
