This post is an announcement to let you know that I have made fresh arrangements with Jason Leyanna, who bought the site from me in February of 2022. I'm thrilled to announce that as of this evening, I once again own the HonestGamers site!
As you may recall, Jason was kind enough to take the reins when I stepped away in 2022. He has kept the site online for the nearly five years that have passed since then, ensuring we were all able to continue posting about games that matter to us and enjoying one of the greatest video game review archives on the web.
A lot has changed these past few years, both in my life and in the world at large. But Jason and I have never stopped believing that the site's best days are still ahead of it. Reaching the next plateau will require sustained effort, which I'm now in a better position to manage.
I look forward to keeping HonestGamers online, even as other terrific sites disappear into the ether. Jason will remain on board to assist with ongoing efforts in any ways that feel natural, while I take the reins and do what I can to increase activity and engagement.
The big first step is the new design, which I built over most of the past month. You can learn more in this blog post.
There's still a lot of work ahead of us, but I know HonestGamers is in a better position to thrive than it has been in a long while. I look forward to the site's next chapter, and I hope to see plenty more of each of you as things develop. Thank you for your continued support!

"What if everything you see is more than what you see--the person next to you is a warrior and the space that appears empty is a secret door to another world? What if something appears that shouldn't? You either dismiss it, or you accept that there is much more to the world than you think. Perhaps it really is a doorway, and if you choose to go inside, you'll find many unexpected things." - Shigeru Miyamoto on secret doors to another world
