Not only am I currently working on my ABC Review RIGHT NOW!!!!! But I also have plans for two more Overdrive Productions in the near future.
1. While going through my library of ROMs, I noticed Destiny of an Emperor 2 was still there. I'd gotten nearly through the game when I upgraded my computer and, therefore, my emulators. I completely upgraded to a different NES emulator, which mean my save data and freeze state for that game no longer were usable. Not feeling any desire to replay that entire game, I forgot about it completely. But now, I remember it and will have a review of it up in the near future.
2. And then comes the event which will change society forever: MY 200th REVIEW ON THIS SITE!!! For a game only I know what it shall be!!! Coming to you on January 1, 2008 (or as close to that date as my inevitable post-New Year's Eve hangover shall allow)!!!
Yes, this is an exciting time for all of us, as we celebrate Overdrive and what he means to all of you! Orgasmic delights will flood your heads as show that, yes, I still got it! Prepare for pleasure!!!!

I bet you've made more progress than me:

I've written a good 350 or so words, but stopped for today because I'm not sure I like it.
So, if I keep any portion of what I've written, yeah, I've done more.
But if I scrap it all and start over, it's a toss-up.

I rediscovered Destiny of an Emperor 2 a while back. The last time I had finished DoaE and looked into the sequel, there was no translation patch to speak of. I forgot about it until like October when I remembered it, found there was a proper translation now, and started on it.
Then I abandoned it for no reason, because after all, I'm still Sash.

I look forward to more Overdrive review goodness. 200 reviews is quite the milestone!

A funny story.
Or maybe not so funny.
When I had OS9 on my Mac, I used MagicEngine .99.
I upgraded to OS 10.2 (because it was the most affordable option AND because I have a low-powered iMac and 10.4 would take too much memory....).
A few days ago I went to upgrade my Turbo emulator. Turns out, for Macs, MagicEngine ports go from OS 9 to OS 10.4, so that was out. Richard Bannister has one I can download that works for 10.2, but doesn't have freeze states, which are amazing for getting through games for reviews.
While I have a crapload of Turbo ROMS to go through, it's just a pain in the ass to start up OS9, so I've not played one in a while. But I will soon. Them games are too wacky and quirky and cool to avoid for too long!
