ZeniMax files for 'Hearth Fire' trademark
So what's Hearth Fire, eh? For starters, it's a conjuration skillbook you'll find while playing The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. It's also one of the 12 seasons the world of Tamriel experiences.
And finally, it's also what ZeniMax Media, Bethesda Game Studios' parent company, filed a computer software trademark for on May 24, as found by Fusible. Does it mean Hearth Fire could be a yet-to-be-announced downloadable content pack for Skyrim?
Maybe.
Skyrim's first expansion, Dawnguard, was already announced earlier this month and will be further detailed next week at E3. So even if Hearth Fire is indeed Skyrim's next DLC, we're probably a ways off before officially hearing about it.
Nonetheless, let the speculation begin. Skyrim DLC? A new game? An expansion for the recently-announced Elder Scrolls Online? What's your money on, folks?
