South Park: The Game in the works

South Park is getting another video game, and they actually seem to be trying this time.
The upcoming issue of Game Informer magazine sports a South Park cover and contains the game's official announcement. South Park: The Game is reportedly an RPG being developed by Obsidian. Yes, from Fallout: New Vegas to South Park. Told you they mean it this time.
Series creators Matt Stone and Trey Parker are hard at work on the game, writing the script, voicing all of the characters they voice in the cartoon, and just generally overseeing development.
The main character in South Park: The Game is a new kid in town, who must make friends and defend the town from something or other. There aren't a lot of details available yet, but speculation based on the above Game Informer cover suggests a lot of the action may take place in the kids' imaginations. So it's basically Calvin & Hobbes with more swearing.
More details should be available when the magazine hits the streets.
