OC ReMix pays Zelda tribute with 25YEARLEGEND album
This year celebrates Zelda's 25th anniversary, and Nintendo has done an amazing job of honoring the franchise with The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword. However, they aren't the only ones interested in paying tribute to the beloved adventure series. Eighteen indie composers have come together to show their love in the form a Legend of Zelda tribute album titled 25YEARLEGEND.
As stated, the Zelda-inspired cover album brings eighteen indie composers together. Every one of these composers have worked on noteworthy projects in the past and consider Zelda to have influenced their lives in some way. Among them are Jimmy Hinson (Mass Effect 2), Daniel Rosenfeld (Minecraft), and Laura Shigihara (Plants vs. Zombies).
Those are big games, and when composers who have worked on such popular games come together for a project like 25YEARLEGEND, you know the end result is going to be great. They've even put together a release trailer to offer a taste of what's in store should you download 25YEARLEGEND.
Best of all, as this is an OC ReMix release, the album is entirely free. That's the second best price anything can be! (The best price is, of course, someone paying you to get it.) With no cost to you, there's no reason to not head on over to the site and download 25YEARLEGEND right away. Those interested can do so here.
