SSX demo hits the console slopes next week

SSX image

EA announced via the SSX Ubercast that a demo for SSX is on the way.

Though it looks like it's definitely on the right track, I'd understand if you're a bit hesitant to go all in on EA's upcoming SSX. After all, the last console entry in the series was SSX Blur, a Wii-exclusive that had mixed reviews back in 2007.

Luckily, we'll get a chance to get our hands on an SSX demo next week, on Feb. 21 and Feb. 22, to be exact, on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, respectively. Of course, that's if you believe what Todd Batty, the game's creative director, had to say during this week's SSX Ubercast, an SSX-dedicated podcast.

In the demo, we'll have one playable character, four events to play and two tutorials to, well, get tutorialized in. Oh, and there will also be skydiving.

Wait, skydiving? Oh, SSX, sometimes you so tricky.
