Alright, let's see. Shaq-Fu came out okay, I thought. Did okay. What next...eh...Smackdown vs. Raw 2006 looks pretty good, I'd like doing that. From Russia With Love has been a bit of a disappointment, though, might take some time with that.
I…don’t get it.
Okay, a few days ago, a friend of mine showed my a YTMND that had a picture of Ronald McDonald with a turban flying one of the 9/11 planes through New York City. My friend thought it was funny, but me…I wasn’t laughing. My friend just wrote, claimed to be naturally irreverent. I just sort of…dismissed it, I guess, and left it at that.
I’ve been thinking about it for the past few days, and it occurred to me how full of horse manure stuff like that is. I mean, maybe it’s just me, maybe it’s just the way that I was taught, but when is making fun of the horrible deaths of over 1,000 people considered not only acceptable, but funny, too? When did we cross that line?
I seriously love this game. It's just...it's the total package. The voice acting is actually good, damn good (favorite line comes from Christian "But...you can't roll without me...") the story mode is actually genuinely interesting, and the fact that it branches and has alternating paths and is even completely different depending on what branch you join and what characters you play as...great. The collision detection works pretty well, and while I didn't like having to charge up my stamina all the time, it adds a realistic side to the fights that just makes them all the more intense. So many match types, and the graphics ARE AWESOME; the characters move exactly like their real life counterparts and are all fleshy in a way that makes just about everyone look like they're supposed to.
I have that stupid 'Take Me Out' song stuck in my head. It...won't...get...out.
For some reason, that pic wouldn't resize properly when I tagged it. Oh well.
Anyway, might as well do something psuedo-constructive. I really don't plan too far ahead with my reviews, but here are some vague future guesses for upcoming reviews.

FD3 is the first 'teen movie' I've ever watched. It will be the last.
Hm. I like that intro. Modified, it could fit well for a niche game that I hate. Hm.
Anyway, it sucked horribly and the only reason it was worthwhile was because it was on a date. She thought it was funny-stupid, and so did I. I mean, I would have agreed whether I thought it was or not, but it was really funny in a stupid way. Lots of gore. Unnescessary gore. And the plot kind of hinges on all the characters being idiots.
[It's official. I hate this game on every possible level. Here's a rewrite, the FINAL REWRITE, that should borrow FROM ABSOLUTELY NO ONE. If it does I will scream. Loudly.]
