I just added a new feature that I hope some of you will enjoy.
You can now click on the Users link at the top of most pages on the main site to view the usual information and selection of user-related features. However, the top selection is all-new. That link takes you to a page that lists some ideas for games to review.
The way it works is that the site checks the list of games you have indicated you owned for each system, then compares your list to the list of games on that particular system that are currently in the site database. Games are sorted based on how often their profile pages have recently been viewed, starting with the most popular and working down from there. The page then looks to see if there is a review available for each game. Finally, it lists as many as 20 games for the system in question, so that you know which games (if any) that you own are especially good candidates for a review.
Obviously, you're welcome to review whatever you like. I'm happy to see reviews for all sorts of games, old and new. And I'm happy to see reviews for games that others have already reviewed, as well. This tool is simply intended to conveniently let you know what reviews you might be able to write that will currently meet a known need. Enjoy!

Yes, I requested Hawken to be added to the database quite a while ago, because a big patch was supposed to be imminently released sometime during the summer, but it's now winter and that patch still hasn't been released yet. That game is effectively in development limbo so I'm withholding my review until they get their $#!@ together.
I also added Gods Will Be Watching a while back, and at that time I was considering simply copy-pasting my Steam review into it, but then I decided that I would wait until I had spent some more time with it so I could write a proper, full review. I will do this eventually as soon as I get around to it.
Either way, this is a good feature for the site, and if anybody beats me to those two, feel free.
By and by, I also do own Child of Light and the Sims 4, so I might end up reviewing those at some point as well.

My own list has 322 titles. If I didn't set the page up so that it caps results per system at 20, the number might well be considerably higher. 7 of the titles on that list are PC titles, and 1 of them I reviewed for another site and thus can't cover here.
Naturally, the page has more suggestions the more games a person lists in his or her collection, and my collection is probably the largest listed on the site. I also own nearly 500 PC titles that aren't listed in the database, so at some point in the future, I would like to come up with a collaborative project to maybe get some of those reviewed... but that is for another day. ;-)

On a very related note, might I propose a wish-you-well exchange as well? I have a habit of acquiring Steam keys for games I will never play. I would be more than happy to gift keys to HG contributors who want to review the game in question.
It would be opportunistic, but dangit I just want to be nice. It's a thing I do. :) Any thoughts on that, honest?
