Great review! Summed it up nicely, though Sam didn't bother me nearly as much. Really, I think his whole purpose was to annoy you with his choices, so you can understand how Elena probably felt.
Minor point of correction: Nate and Elena were actually married after 2, and were separated then reconciled at the end of 3. (I only know this because I just played through the Remastered Collection.)
