About Me:

Sorry, but I haven't yet shared the information about myself that would typically display here. Check back later to see if that changes, or if I instead choose to remain an enigma.

I just beat a certain underwater section in Kirby. Guess you have some catching up to do, eh?

That is all. :D

Phantom Hourglass is really ticking me off.
December 06, 2007

Okay, so I'll admit that I do like the game, for the MOST part. I'm going to c/p some of what I've said somewhere else, then I have some things to add, because I need to let off steam.

From a GameFAQs post I put up two days ago:

Free stuff!
November 30, 2007

So, sometimes I actually do get around to registering my games with their respective companies. In this case, I was trying to get 3 months free of Nintendo Power by registering 3+ products on My Nintendo. (Hey, I used to subscribe to it almost 15 years ago, and I'm curious to see if it'd be worth it now.) I stumbled upon an interesting promotion...A free feather pen shaped stylus, just for registering & giving my opinions on Zelda: Phantom Hourglass.

I got the notification that the stylus shipped earlier this week, and I came home to a small package in my mailbox.

Another one down.. sort of.

Luminous Arc, first playthrough completed as of 2:30 yesterday morning. I discovered that I missed a bunch of stuff the first time around so I'm playing around on the New Game +. However, I'm on level 7 of the Mysteria Ruins, and I've got the game suspended. Hopefully I can manage to clear it. :)

And so the saga ends.. for now.
November 25, 2007

I finished Phoenix Wright: Trials and Tribulations about a half hour ago. The ending.. made me giggle, made me cry, made me think about writing really bad fanfiction.. all in all, I'm mostly satisfied. I'm amazed at how Capcom wove all three games together, sometimes in the most .. interesting ways.

I have a bit more work to do with it - namely, finishing the guide I started *pokes Sash* - then I'll shelve it for now. Maybe when the hubby gets done with PW1 I'll run through the trilogy again to keep me busy until the February release of Apollo Justice.

Hee. Hee. Hee.

My husband has been CORRUPTED!

He kept insisting he'd NEVER play Phoenix Wright.

*listens for the Objection! theme from the living room* *smirks*

He says watching me play it made HIM want to play it now... as did those Phoenix Wrong flashes. This is AFTER he insisted he'd never play PW after seeing a certain flamboyantly gay pink chef in PW3.. ;)

Memories..
November 24, 2007

Last night was my 10-year high school reunion. I'm still not all that much into jumping into the thick of things, so I only got to talk to a few people, though I got to take a ton of pictures. However, a friend of mine had brought her autograph book and showed me my signature from HS. I signed it with my name and then "Zelda" in quotes.

That got me thinking. Back when video games were just becoming popular, I selected "Zelda" as my screen name because, well, to me it sounded better than "Samus" and those were the only two female characters I could think of right then.

It stuck for YEARS, to the point that one of my co-workers called me that when I worked in radio, and some people still give me grief about it to this day.
