Gauntlet: Dark Legacy (PlayStation 2)

Gauntlet: Dark Legacy review (PS2)

Reviewed on Date Unknown

With dozens of monsters to slay, power-ups to do it with and an arsenal of weaponry, Gauntlet has it where it counts. But is that good enough to stand up against other games, such as Diablo and Baulders Gate: Dark alliance?

The 7th Saga (SNES)

The 7th Saga review (SNES)

Reviewed on Date Unknown

7th Saga isn't an AWFUL game... But there's a lot better out there. If you had to sum it up in one word, mediocre would be that word.

Breath of Fire review (SNES)

Reviewed on Date Unknown

Hopefully, with the newer releases of the series, more people will want to play the game that started it all.

Breath of Fire II (SNES)

Breath of Fire II review (SNES)

Reviewed on Date Unknown

Overall, Breath of Fire 2 is a very promising game, if you play just the introduction, where no fighting is involved. However, once you get into the main combat of the game, Breath of Fire 2 quickly loses its appeal.

Doom (SNES)

Doom review (SNES)

Reviewed on Date Unknown

Chances are, if you're reading this review, you can play the PC version of Doom. Do so immediately if you haven't yet.

EarthBound (SNES)

EarthBound review (SNES)

Reviewed on Date Unknown

While it is far-fetched (you're fighting against the possessed dogs with baseball bats) and pretty silly, don't let that get you down. It's still a very fun game to play.

Golden Sun review (GBA)

From its incredible graphics to its engrossing storyline, Golden Sun proves that huge surprises can come in small packages.

Final Fantasy II (SNES)

Final Fantasy II review (SNES)

Reviewed on Date Unknown

When you confront the king about his motives, it begins a downward spiral that starts with you and your friend Kain being relegated to high-class delivery boys...

Final Fantasy: Mystic Quest (SNES)

Final Fantasy: Mystic Quest review (SNES)

Reviewed on Date Unknown

Bobo The Clown's Hobo Soup Recipe Start with rusty pail of sewer water. Make sure it is relatively free of chunks, otherwise they will conflict with later ingrediants. Add one dirty shoelace, three toenail clippings (excluding the big toe), and fifteen copies of Final Fantasy Mystic Quest, well-mashed. Serve hot. Stays good for several weeks.

State of Emergency review (PS2)

''Oh wow, oh wow, oh wow, this is SO cool. Really, cool. It'll get harder any second now. Any minute now. Any HOUR now! Any DAY NOW! WHEN DOES THIS GAME TURN INTO A DAMM GAME?''

Killer Instinct (SNES)

Killer Instinct review (SNES)

Reviewed on Date Unknown

If you're looking for a good Super Nintendo fighting game, you can't go wrong with Killer Instinct. It's a very solid game. However, the combo system might not be too fly with everyone.

The Legend of the Mystical Ninja (SNES)

The Legend of the Mystical Ninja review (SNES)

Reviewed on Date Unknown

The Legend of the Mystical Ninja is a neglected gem on the Super Nintendo system. While people were wasting their time playing other games like Super Mario World and Lagoon, or the ''newest'' installment of Mega Man, they could have been playing this fun side scroller from the good people at Konami.

Lufia II: Rise of the Sinistrals (SNES)

Lufia II: Rise of the Sinistrals review (SNES)

Reviewed on Date Unknown

Lufia 2 is the role playing game that should most appeal to old skool gamers. Very linear, with big dungeons and nasty puzzles, it also harkens back to earlier role playing roots with its combat system. Lufia 2 ranks in the top four role playing games for the Super Nintendo.

Mega Man Soccer (SNES)

Mega Man Soccer review (SNES)

Reviewed on Date Unknown

In Mega Man Soccer, Dr. Light is now running a soccer team. Why? Because Dr. Wily took over the soccer championship game! Duh! And how else are you going to beat him, besides a soccer game??? Put him in jail? Shoot him down with a rocket? Crazy talk! Soccer is the only way!

Might & Magic III: Isles of Terra review (SNES)

In the conversion from the PC to the Super Nintendo, all the magic and charm that makes Might and Magic 3 great is lost.

Mortal Kombat (SNES)

Mortal Kombat review (SNES)

However, it immediately loses points for comprimising its integrity, by providing a watered down version to make sure it didn't offend TOO many people.

Mortal Kombat II (SNES)

Mortal Kombat II review (SNES)

Reviewed on Date Unknown

Overall, Mortal Kombat 2 will be remembered more as the game which started ultragore fests instead of what it should be remembered as - an excellent fighting game, second to only the Street Fighter series in terms of sheer playability.
