Mortal Kombat: Shaolin Monks (PlayStation 2)

Mortal Kombat: Shaolin Monks review (PS2)

Reviewed on October 24, 2005

To think that Midway would take Mortal Kombat to a new 3-D adventure, you would have to be crazy right? Well not all would say that with their new release Mortal Kombat Shaolin Monks. Everyone is use to the old style of 2-D flat screen fighting, but there are those who wish to take the characters to a new level. Fighting Scorpion on a flat screen is only fun for so long, but imagine fighting him in a new 3-D realm where he has total control over his arena. There were limited possibilities on mak...
Nanobreaker (PlayStation 2)

Nanobreaker review (PS2)

Reviewed on September 12, 2005

If you could take a sci-fi story line, a cyborg he-man character, and throw in some Castlevania 3-D fighting style in it, what would the baby come out like?.....pretty ugly. I think that is the only description that you could give Konami's Nano Breaker. Anybody who enjoyed Lament of Innocence would expect to be in for a treat, but ladies and gentlemen Igarashi left you at the end of a cliff ready to fall off. I think you would be better off falling off the cliff, then having to play this game fo...
Area 51 (PlayStation 2)

Area 51 review (PS2)

Reviewed on June 27, 2005

When you think of Aliens you think of little green things that like to stick things up your (insert bad word here). Well that is where YOU are wrong. First of all they aren't green, they're Gray. But...they still like to probe people. There have been many attempts to a great Area 51 game, and this time Midway topped all with their new release. Unlike the other Area 51 games you may come across, this one actually has an attempt to a story, great graphics engine and let's not look past the fact of...

Katamari Damacy review (PS2)

Reviewed on May 09, 2005

Rolling a ball of junk has never been so fun. In Katamari Damacy, you’re a pint-sized prince who is picking up after your father The King of all Cosmos. One night the King was bored and he decided to run into all the stars in space. Why? I guess just playing the game will help you understand. It was all fun and games for the King, but all of us people on earth weren’t too happy the next day. Well since he is the King I guess it means he can be lazy. He makes you, the prince,...

Devil May Cry 3: Dante's Awakening review (PS2)

Reviewed on April 18, 2005

When I think of sexy, the first thing that comes to mind is a lovely young woman. But when it comes to games I think “Devil May Cry 3.” The wait is finally over, and Capcom finally did things right. Anything and everything that went wrong with Dante's second outing has been fixed. There are all sorts of changes and some new features to make this game perfect.

Devil May Cry 2 review (PS2)

Reviewed on March 28, 2005

The Action game genre is one that everyone has to love. And anybody who is into the genre realizes that Devil May Cry is one of the top titles. The first Devil May Cry was a huge jump of success for Capcom. But, with the new developers they hired, it seems we are left with a downfall. Capcom said they wanted to fix flaws in the first game, and add to the sequel. Instead, they fixed some of the flaws, but they took away what made the game best.
