Tony Hawk's American Sk8land review (DS)Reviewed on August 25, 2006Are you obsessed with Hollywood and it's supposed movie-star lifestyle? Do you skateboard? Does the phrase "California Uber Alles" make you happy? How about "Deutschland Uber Alles"? If you answered yes to all of these questions, then you're most certainly looking at the right game. Wave Race 64 review (N64)Reviewed on December 20, 2005There have been times when I've picked up a gaming console at launch, fully expecting the best experience it could deliver. When the Super Nintendo launched, we received Super Mario World along with Pilot Wings and F-Zero on day one. Even that had seemed impressive to me. However, this past summer,... |

The Urbz: Sims in the City review (DS)Reviewed on July 23, 2005It didn’t take The Sims Hot Date/Vacation/Makin’ Magic/Bustin’ Out/Livin’ Large/Unleashed for me to realize that Maxis had tapped the well of originality. With all the busty expansion packs and “deluxe” versions of the original game available, I find it somewhat surprising that The Urbz: Sims in the City has even met a release date. After a while, you’d think a developer could no longer include any more content within a life-simulator. However, Maxis has decidedly taken a leap towards a story-dr... |
