Metal Gear Sold: Rising has a new producer
Shigenobu Matsuyama will no longer be producing the game, as he has stepped down and passed the reins over to Yuji Korekado (who is also working on Zone of the Enders HD.
Kojima Productions is full of producers. One such producer, Kenichiro Imaizumi, recently tweeted the first bit of information about Metal Gear Solid: Rising we've heard in quite a while.
Specifically, he tweeted that Shigenobu Matsuyama will no longer be producing the game, as he has stepped down and passed the reins over to Yuji Korekado (who is also working on Zone of the Enders HD. This follows concern from earlier this week, when Korekado himself made his own Twitter account and was welcomed by series mastermind Hideo Kojima as "the person in charge of Rising." Earlier today, Kojima tweeted about Korekado again, referring to him as the "main producer."
Metal Gear Solid: Rising has been missing since E3 of 2010, after being announced at E3 the year before. We should finally be getting more news in early December, at the always-embarrassing Spike Video Game Awards.
