[UPDATE] Anarchy Reigns maybe dated again
UPDATE: Confirmed
Platinum Games' Anarchy Reigns was supposed to come out last January, and was then delayed until July, and then delayed again until who knows when, despite being completed and localized, and released in Japan.
Sega hasn't said a word about the game since then, but its new release date may be set. Amazon and Gamefly are listing the game for January 8th, 2013, about a year after its originally planned release date. Amazon is also listing it at a new budget price: $30 for Xbox 360 and $40 for PS3. (The PS3 version contains 33% more anarchy. Those prices will probably even out before launch.)
This isn't an official announcement of the release date, but it fits the previous indications of a Q1 2013 release. It's also just like Sega to skip releasing a low profile game during the dead summer months and opt instead to send it to die in the much busier new year.
UPDATE: Platinum Games has confirmed via their Twitter account that Anarchy Reigns will be available January 8th in North America for $29.99 and January 11th in Europe for £19.99/€24.99.
