Reviews are a fleeting interest of mine. Long ago it might have become a career if I'd had any confidence in myself. That portion of my life is past and I have the confidence I need.
Though I'll admit I didn't expect to be published by HG. You grow accustomed to rejection on the fiction circuit. This was a nice change of pace, so I promise to make a habit of it. In fact, I have at least four reviews ready to go, and I'm working on a re-write for my Half Life 2 review, as it was broken at the time. (The game, not my review, though now the reverse is true.)
Did I mention school? That's right. Whilst working for a living I am taking night school courses ... the goal is enter education. Oh, I know, there's no money in it from any end of the business. Yes, business. However, education is my passion.
I mean, why else would I try to explain why a game is awesome and list the reasons why you should invest your time in it? Notice the words I chose? There might be a quiz, so take notes.
I've always loved the interaction of people, technology and education, so that is going to be my focus. How I get there is a matter of time, effort and choices. So while I concern myself with that, go do what you do, and come back once and a while to read all of the great writers at HonestGamers!

Mainly for sanity. One of those is: Never stop! Be it reviews, doll photography or animal husbandry, we gain from our efforts, and each step we know more than we did before. Being worth reading is a constant process of self assessment, revision, patience and confidence, but not necessarily in that order.
Isn't satisfaction what the T.Rump is complaining about? The Rolling Stones are wrong ... we can have some. I see a lot of gamers here contentedly sharing their experiences with curious friends. I keep hearing that the world is a nasty, unhappy place, but I keep meeting these nice, pleasant people.
And I'm grateful for that.
