How's the performance? I played the demo and it felt very choppy and a bit nauseating.

I haven't bought this game yet (I'll wait until it's cheaper), but my 8yo has played through the demo like half a dozen times and loves it. The coop was a bit of a let down. The 2p Waddle Dee is easy to use, but why would a kid want to be Waddle Dee instead of Kirby? Not all of the mouthful modes have something for the 2nd player to do either in the ones I've seen.

I didn't notice anything choppy or nauseating, but I haven't played the demo to compare. For me, the game felt smooth, with responsive controls and no technical hitches to mention. I'm not someone who insists on or even notices when a game runs at 60 FPS, though, and I would imagine this one runs at 30 FPS.

Perhaps it really is a doorway, and if you choose to go inside, you'll find many unexpected things." - Shigeru Miyamoto on secret doors to another world2
