Arguably, Super Meat Boy is the star attraction here. From what I can tell, it's a great game. However, don't discount the value of Jamestown, a scrolling vertical shooter (as I recall) that I remember being quite the thing around the time of its launch. I definitely had my eye on that one. At this kind of discount, Cave Story is also a terrific value, and Gratuitous Space Battles is apparently a great game (Lewis reviewed it here some time back). In fact, the whole bundle pretty much seems to be made of pure win. I snagged the bundle for myself, so maybe someday I'll wind up reviewing some of the contained games. PayPal is accepted and they fit nicely on my list on Steam. Rather quickly, Steam is turning into one of my most populated gaming platforms!

"What if everything you see is more than what you see--the person next to you is a warrior and the space that appears empty is a secret door to another world? What if something appears that shouldn't? You either dismiss it, or you accept that there is much more to the world than you think. Perhaps it really is a doorway, and if you choose to go inside, you'll find many unexpected things." - Shigeru Miyamoto on secret doors to another world2

I grabbed this. As I'm unemployed, $15 was realistically the best I could do this time around. Still $10 higher than the average. People are pretty cheap...

Personally, I'll stick with straight-up donations. Partially because I feel that getting anything in return cheapens the entire act of charity, but mostly because all seven of those games put together would hardly be worth ten dollars, let alone fifteen bucks a pop. On that note:

Super Meat Boy is the star attraction here. From what I can tell, it's a great game.

...No. No it most certainly is not.

If at first you don't succeed, give up. Don't make a damn fool of yourself.
