Xbox 360 slim unveiled and other moments from Microsoft's Press Conference
June 14, 2010

it was a good thing that Microsoft's press conference got delayed by a good half hour which allowed me to catch the whole thing (almost)...missed about only 10 minutes of it.....the best news for me from the conference was the new slim 250 GB HDDD Xbox 360 for the same price i.e. $299 and being available from next week.....here's hoping that they fixed ALL issues with the new design so that i can be a console gamer once again.....plus in an Oprah Winfrey style move Microsoft gave each audience member a free slim Xbox 360....HOW I WISH I WAS THERE!!!!!!!!!!

E3 starts in 12 hours and a super slow week of releases.....
June 13, 2010

Microsoft's E3 press conference starts in almost 12 hours.....i will be watching this one live (HOPEFULLY).....super excited about this event...i wish i could be there :(

and its no surprise then that this week has no major titles releasing on any platform.....unless u consider Toy Story 3 to be a major release which i dont.....

the PC will see 3 games (besides Toy Story 3) being released this week: SBK-09 Superbike World Championship which is all about....u guessed it superbikes.....then there is the strategy game Making History II (there was a part 1 of this game too?): The War of the World.....and finally a point and click adventure titled The Book of Unwritten Tales......

so everyone enjoy E3.....i know i will!!!!!!!!!!

the new MK will be in 2D......WEEKEND starts in 7 hours.....looking forward to this one.....
June 10, 2010

slow day for gaming news except that the new Mortal Kombat will be in 2D with the 'deepest storyline' in a fighting game.......ooooooooooooooooo impressed NOT!!!!!!!!!!!the same old 'we've been listening to what fans have been asking' mantra.....if every developer is listening to what fans are asking why then are there sucky games still being made?????????

anywayz....weekend starts in 7 hours and really looking forward to this one....will be buying Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands (PC), some DVD movies, a new cellphone (LG KP 500 a.k.a Cookie) and eating out with a couple of friends.....so its going to be a good weekend HOPEFULLY!!!!!
