Harry Slater says: "Sometimes it feels like the word massive was invented for this game, or if it wasn't, that until now you didn't really know what massive meant. Like maybe before you though elephants were massive, or whales, but then you play Ironclad's universe spanning RTS and you realise that elephants and whales are tiny, insignificant specks, smeared on the windscreen of a gigantic battlecruiser in the midst of a million, billion stars. It really is quite big. "

Mike Suskie says: "It’s not uncommon for a game to end with hundreds of ships on screen at once, engaged in constant combat while each player struggles for dominance. Frankly, the hours you’ve invested in this game only help to heighten the emotions brought about from this final conflict’s outcome. The disappointment can be overwhelming; that you could come this far and fail at the last second doesn’t seem possible. On the other hand, the sense of satisfaction gained from a narrow victory is one of the most gratifying I’ve yet to experience in a game. Either way, it’s an epic fight."

jsgx3 says: "This is a pretty darn good game. But it's just shy of being a great game. In fact it has improved my opinion of the RTS genre. I've had three RTS games that have really impressed me. The first of course is Age of Empires, I remember being very excited in my very first play of that game, the second was Company of Heroes, and this is the third. Interestingly it is the departures from the latest standard RTS fare that have re-ignited my interest in this form of PC gaming. Namely, it doesn't exactly..."
