Ys III: Wanderers From Ys review (Genesis) |
|||
Reviewed by Gary Hartley (August 27, 2006) Ys III presents its bosses not as the typical war-of-attrition drag-out slugfests, but instead as short, brutal affairs that leave little room for tactical manoeuvring and places a bigger emphasis on quick-fire dodging and desperate slicing. |

Reviewed by Jason Venter (July 29, 2003) Every time you complete a dungeon, you can count on an interesting plot twist, some new items, and a sense of accomplishment that should be at odds with your realization that the dungeon you just conquered wouldn't have puzzled a two-year-old, but somehow isn't. |

Reviewed by Rob Hamilton (January 03, 2010) Adding to Adol's problems is the sad truth that everyone in Redmont (including Dogi) is completely worthless, so he'll have to bail everyone out with little help beyond getting pointed in a given direction and sent off with a hearty, "You can do it, dude!" And then there's Chester. The brother of potential romance option Ellena falls into the category of erstwhile hero/tragic villain/unbelievably idiotic dumbass, as he combines arrogant blustering with possibly the least intelligent plan for revenge imaginable. |
