Leisure Suit Larry: Wet Dreams Dry Twice has a May console date

Leisure Suit Larry: Wet Dreams Dry Twice, the second Leisure Suit Larry game from developers CrazyBunch and publisher Assemble Entertainment is headed to consoles on May 18, 2021, the companies have announced in a press release. Released for PC in October of last year, the game is bound next for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

As Larry Laffer, you'll seek to reunite with your soulmate: the lovely Faith. She has disappeared in the tropical paradise of Kalau'a.

Features in Leisure Suit Larry: Wet Dreams Dry Twice include more than 50 hand-drawn locations, recurring characters you likely recall from previous games, and plenty of the usual suggestive puns, puzzles and buxom newcomers.

"Wet Dreams Dry Twice was a big hit on the PC, and it's our pleasure to finally share the even cheekier adventures of Larry with console players," said Stefan Marcinek, CEO of Assemble Entertainment. "There's a charm to this series that keeps players coming back again and again, and Larry's latest quest might be his most important of all."

I quite enjoyed Leisure Suit Larry: Wet Dreams Don't Dry when I played it on Switch at the time of its release, even if a lot of critics don't, so I am unironically pleased that the follow-up is on its way to that same device. If you want to try the previous game yourself, it might not be a bad time; the eShop presently has it listed with a pleasing 80% discount that's hard to resist. Let your heart be your guide.
