Curse of the Dead Gods is available today for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and on PC through the Epic Games Store and Steam, publisher Focus Home Interactive has announced. Previously, the title was playable on PC in Early Access form.

Curse of the Dead Gods is an "indie action roguelite" from Passtech Games, the studio previously known for Masters of Anima and the Space Run games. It retails for $19.99 USD on the various digital platforms, but is presently available with a 10% launch window discount that works out to $17.99 USD.

In Curse of the Dead Gods, players explore temples while encountering traps, enemies, weapons and riches, all on their way to a confrontation with the God of Death. The game has been in Early Access for around a year, and the developers thank "incredible feedback" from that community for leading to a "massive amount of new content and features available today."

Apparently, there are hundreds of combinations of items, relics, and curses, with "hours upon hours of adventuring" for those who take to the game's design. Roguelites tend to work that way; if you like what you get, it'll usually keep you busy for a very long time.

Besides the the game itself, a Curse of the Dead Gods soundtrack is available for purchase on Steam and the Epic Games Store, either by itself or as part of a bundle when you purchase the game. This might lead a person to suspect the game has awesome music, but that could be a lie perpetrated by vengeful, evil gods. One never knows in cases like this.
