Hyper Light Drifter heads next to Nintendo Switch
The popular action-RPG title will finally reach a Nintendo audience.
In November of 2016, Heart Machine released a game called Hyper Light Drifter. It was available on PC and PlayStation 4, and audiences for the most part liked it a great deal. Vita and Wii U versions were anticipated, but they never materialized.
Today, during its summer showcase, Nintendo revealed that Hyper Light Drifter is coming to Nintendo Switch, with a subtitle: "Special Edition." It's available for pre-order right now, in fact, with an MSRP of $19.99 USD or equivalent.
Abylight, the game's publisher on the new platform, describes Hyper Light Drifter as "an action adventure RPG which features intense action, otherworldly environments and a captivating storyline." The game is inspired by some of the classics from yesteryear, such as Final Fantasy VI and The Legend of Zelda.
