Bandai Namco today announced the availability of free content for Ni no Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom. If you wish, you can download The Adventure Pack and enjoy challenging new content for the PlayStation 4 role-playing game.

Developed by Level-5, Ni no Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom released in North America this March. It is the sequel to the PlayStation 3 title, Ni no Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch. The game blends classic JRPG action with city building mechanics, and our critic quite liked the results.

The DLC "offers a new challenge for experienced players" thanks to the addition of additional floors in the Faraway Forest Cave. There also are two new bosses, Blackhart and Zeta, along with additional quests you can only access once you complete the main campaign. Finally, you should be on the lookout for new costumes and other rewards Bandai Namco didn't specifically describe in today's press release.

That's not bad, we don't reckon, given that it's a free add-on for a game that was already quite spiffy. Have you had the chance to spend some time in The Revenant Kingdom yet?
