Mass Effect 3 Wii U hits November 18

The hit WRPG from BioWare will be available at launch.

BioWare has confirmed a November 18 release date for Mass Effect 3 on Wii U. This means the game will be available at the console's laun-oh my God, guys, the Wii U is in less than two weeks!

Mass Effect 3 on Wii U includes the extended cut and From Ashes DLC, as well as an updated version of Dark Horse's Genesis comic. BioWare external producer Melanie Faulknor also says the Wii U version comes with multiplayer add-ons Rebellion, Resurgence, and Earth.

The Genesis comic was first included with the PS3 version of Mass Effect 2, and filled in the player on the events of ME, which was not available on the system. The comic was interactive and allowed players to make the major decisions they would have encountered in the first game. The Wii U update includes the events of Mass Effect 2 as well, allowing decisions from both previous games to affect the plot of 3.

The Omega DLC, to be released later this month, wasn't addressed by BioWare. It's assumed that Wii U players will have to download that separately just like everyone else.
