The Walking Dead getting retail release in December, apparently
Uh huh, ok, sure thing, boss.
We already knew a physical release of the first season of Telltale's The Walking Dead game was planned. What we didn't know was that they'd tell lies about its release date.
Ok, it might be a bit early to be throwing around such accusations, but come on. So far they've barely managed to squeeze out an episode at the tail end of every second month since the launch of the first episode. The first three episodes were released at the ends of April, June, and August. With the fourth episode nowhere in sight, it's probably safe to assume that it'll be out in late October and the fifth and final episode will be out just before the end of the year at this rate.
So that December 4th release date they've given for the retail release sounds a little bit fishy. In any case, the PS3 and Xbox 360 disc-based versions of the game will be available sooner than you probably expected. But I'll give you all $20* if they hit their current target date. Maybe don't ask Santa for this for Christmas.
*Note: That's $20 to split amongst yourselves.
