Pikmin 3 will be at E3 this year

Nintendgod Shigeru Miyamoto revealed in an interview with a Spanish newspaper that Pikmin 3 will be at E3 this year.

After being announced at E3 1962, Pikmin 3 has failed to make an appearance at any subsequent trade show (or anywhere else). Last year Miyamoto confirmed that development of the game had shifted to the Wii U. Now it sounds like it will be one of the games shown off during the console's big re-reveal at E3 2012.

Miyamoto offered further comment. "Anyone who has played Pikmin games in the past will enjoy playing." Sounds like it won't stray too far from the core gameplay of the series, not that it necessarily has to. It hasn't exactly been used much lately.
